Woombie

I had to post this picture because it looks really funny. This contraption that Owen is sleeping in is called a Woombie. It cracks me up every time he is in it, but the thing works. Mr. Owen is a big fan of being all tight and cozy in a swaddle (yes, still) He is also a Houdini baby that manages to break himself free of every blanket and velcro contraption on the market. We will put him to bed and go into his room 2 hours later to find him turned 180 degrees and at the bottom of his crib with an arm and leg sticking out of the swaddle. I don't know how he does it.
If he slept well I would just let him be free. The second he gets those arms out he flails himself awake. Enter the Woombie. Its zipper, fabric, and snap seem to provide an environment that even my lil escape artist cannot maneuver. Today he was trying desperately to roll in this. It looks like the swaddling days are coming to an end. For now I'll just enjoy my little burrito baby.
