"Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas..."

The tree is up.
And there is a little boy waiting for Santa.

This past week Owen has really made sure Santa is paying attention to what a good boy he is being......because he has been sleeping through the night!

Belated Thanksgiving Post

Things are busier than normal for the Buffalo Hall's, so that is why I am just now posting about Thanksgiving. The three of us had a nice Thanksgiving in Buffalo since Teresa had to work on Black Friday.
Owen tired cereal for the first time and loved it!

Teresa made a wonderful dinner for the two of us!

We did make it home for the weekend to visit with family and friends. While we were home we went to Holly Day's in the Square and introduced Owen to Santa Claus for the first time.
Owen had no problems telling Santa his wish list.

A message from Owen:
"I had a great time visiting everyone while in the 'Heads. I can't wait to see everyone at Christmas time"

Play time

Owen can not decide what toy to play with.

Owen still playing while crying to get out of his high chair.

Owen decides to take a nap with Sophie tuck in his right arm.

Owen wants his own Blackberry.

Congratulations to the New York Yankees on their 27th World Series title. Hopefully Owen will never have to experience what I have...seeing the Boston Red Sox win, not one, but two World Series titles.

Tricks and Treats

This year's Halloween was definitely different from those in the past at the Hall house. We didn't have the crazy party this year...our friends whined about that for a long time. Instead, I went to Horseheads with Owen for a visit and Dennis stayed behind to work and to attend the Hall Halloween party (which was displaced to out friend Matt's house.) Patty was in town, and had not had the chance to meet Owen yet, so we made the trip to see her of course.
Owen loved his Aunt Patty. They hung out all weekend. They sang songs, rocked, and had many deep conversations.
We also went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Hall. Uncle Sam, Aunt Jenn, and Grace and Alex were there too. Owen is very interested in what his cousins are doing now.I think these two are gonna be trouble when they get a little older...
We went back to Gammy's house to get ready for trick or treating. Owen was a little monkey. He looked adorable, but was not a fan of his costume ha ha. I think it was a little too hot for him.
Aunt Sara and the kiddos posed for a few pictures before we braved the mall trick or treating. Nolan was Moe from the Doodlebops, Kendall was Strawberry Shortcake, and Natalie was Sharpay from High School Musical. They all got some good treats in their bags.
The next day we had a delicious lunch and hung out some more. It's always fun and crazy at Gammy's house.

The Pumpkin Patch

Last weekend we took Owen to the Great Pumpkin Farm in Clarence. He seemed to enjoy seeing all the pumpkins and the people there. Of course we had to find a great big pumpkin for him to take home.We stopped to see the animals first. The goat didn't seem too impressed with us.We had to put him in the cutouts of courseThen we started searching for the perfect pumpkin...after a few photo ops

All that searching made us hungry for a snack. They have a great bakery at the pumpkin farm. We got apple pie with whipped cream and hot apple cider. Yum!Here a little punkin in a big pumpkin! I think Owen likes fall. Now we gotta carve this pumpkin to get ready for Halloween.

Train Weekend

Last weekend we traveled home for a visit. Owen got his first train ride on the Sullivan Railroad as well.

Owen took his first train ride with Mommy and Aunt Sara, while Daddy was driving.

Owen took his second train ride up front at the controls with Daddy.

Owen is wondering when he will get to run the train....in a few more years buddy!
