Happy Valentines Day to everyone. We had a very nice day yesterday. I must say, it's nice to have it fall on a Saturday this year. I slept in yesterday (which was wonderful!) and awoke to this:
mmm...Watson's sponge candy and a cute card. We don't do big gifts for Valentine's Day usually, but we do try to satisfy each other's sweet tooth a little bit. Dennis got his favorite chocolate covered cherries from me.
What was even better was that he cleaned the whole kitchen without even being asked.
Later that evening we got dressed up and went out to dinner at Shadow Lounge. We figured that this may be last Valentine's Day that we can go out for awhile, we'd better enjoy it. We both got steak for dinner and had creme brulee cheesecake for dessert. Everything was delicious. We were both pretty ready to get home and put our sweats on after eating so much food, so we curled up on the couch and watched a movie. It was a very nice day for sure.
