On Wednesday, July 30th at 10:19am Alexander Richard was delivered at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY at 10lbs. 7oz. and 21 1/4" long to Sam and Jennifer (Jenn is my younger sister).With numbers like this, I think he will be a linebacker or a fullback. So for the fifth time, Teresa and I are an Aunt and Uncle....and we also accepted the honor of being Alex's godparents.
Yesterday Teresa and I took a ride out to Rochester to visit everyone and meet our new nephew. We spent some time holding him, but all he wanted to do was sleep. He better get what sleep he can. If tradition goes as it did in my household growing up....the second child was never left alone by the first child.....and that even holds true to this day. ;)
Gracie seems to be enjoying being a big sister for now, but I can see that all changing once everyone is home and "that baby" is around all the time. Do you agree Gracie?
