Ski Bunnies
This post is pretty outdated, but for Valentine's Day we decided to do something different rather than the traditional going out for dinner....we went skiing. Teresa and I have been talking about skiing for the past 10 years we have lived in Buffalo, but never made it until now.

Teresa had never skied before, and I haven't skied in about 15 years. After a quick 2 hourlesson, we were on our own.

Here you can see Teresa picked up on skiing pretty quickly. In the background is one of the resorts.

We had a great day. The weather was ideal for skiing and it is something hope to do a few times a year now.

Bath time!
Owen gets his bath every night right before bed. I must say, he enjoys the ritual every night and knows what order we do things by heart now.
He always knows it's time for his bath after dinner. This is strategic for us so we can clean up the inevitably messy hand/face/clothes combo after eating his dinner.
Then we go upstairs and get our dirty clothes off, take our medicine, and have a little "naked tushie time" He makes a beeline for the bathroom and waits for the water to warm up
Then he gets really excited and cracks himself up watching the bubbles and his toys floating around.
We play with toys while mommy washes little toes and fingers and sings silly made up songs about his little toesies and handsies and how they're not stinky anymore
Of course a funny hairdo is in order when we shampoo
Then it's time to get out and dry off. He always gets very sad when it's over
He checks the status of his toes and fingers to make sure mommy did a thorough cleaning job before we proceed with the donning of the PJ's
We apply various lotions, powders, creams, and brush his hair. This kid's skin is in better shape than my own. Then we go back to the mirror to tell ourselves what a handsome little man he is. Bath time is fun!

Snow Baby
Being a Buffalo boy, we thought Owen would enjoy the snow. We bundled him all up and took him outside after the snow last weekend. He certainly was not amused. He couldn't move in his snowsuit (channeling Randy from a Christmas story,) which annoyed him to no end. He didn't like the snowflakes falling on his face, and he certainly didn't seem to enjoy the cold and snow. I hope he learns to like it next winter, so we can do snow angels and make snow men. Time will tell I suppose. Here's some pics of the grumpy snowman...
