We have noticed that a number of the blogs we follow, have seem to have come to a halt. A number of reasons come to mind, but I am sure the biggest reason is due to not having enough time. I find that there is not enough time in day to get everything done, even if you start the day bright and early with a plan.
when I was younger, time seemed to stand still....I thought birthday's, Christmas's, summer vacation and the weekends would never come. Now I find myself saying "I can't believe it is the holidays season again" or "where did summer go?"I work 12 hour days and find I could stay at work for a few more hours and still be behind. I start each day with a plan, but daily activities always have a different plan.
It has been almost 8 months since Owen has arrived and everyday has been awesome. There is something about your son looking at you everyday with that look. You know the look...the look of innocence. That look everyday makes me take a few steps back to make sure I enjoy every minute of everyday. 8 months has flown by.....I trying to hold on so I am not saying "Where did time go? He was just born yesterday and now he is off to college in South Bend or Chapel Hill."
So how is Owen spending his time? He watched his first Superbowl last weekend. He did very well. He stayed up until about the end of the 3rd quarter and won the pool...$100. Not bad.
Last night we all went to the car show, which is an annual tradition.
Owen can not decide between the Porsche or the Corvette...
But his favorite thing had to be sitting the huge tire on the monster truck (Yes, that tire is a Goodyear tire).
