Owen comes home

Today Owen and Teresa were discharged from the hospital with a clean bill of health. They probably could have come home yesterday if they really wanted to, but did not push the issue.

As you can see in the picture below..I picked out Owen's coming home outfit. It was a tough call between a Jordan outfit or a Yankees outfit, but I figured that is was one of my few times I would have a say in what he wore so I went with the North Carolina Blue Jordan set. We will save the Yankees outfit for the game tonight. Oh, just a little tid bit about Owen's birthday. He shares it with Derek Jeter, the Yankees shortstop and Captain.

Here Owen is sleeping as soon as we got home. We wanted to give him the tour of his new place, but he had other plans.
Here Teresa holds here new baby boy. She is so excited to be home so she can sleep in her own bed and get a real shower.

Owen Richard

Just a quick update....Owen Richard was born at 11:25am on 6/26/09.

Weiging in at 7lbs. 13oz and 20.5 inches long.

Mom and baby are doing well.

More updates and pics will come.

Finally...the nursery!

The nursery is finally complete! We were just waiting on the rug to come in, which it did today. Here's some pics for your viewing pleasure...It's all ready to go...now we just need a baby!
